THE CHRISTIAN LATINA LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE PROVIDES

CERTIFICATE IN LATINA LEADERSHIP STUDIES

At every CLLI training women leaders concentrate on sharpening their leadership skills as well as their spiritual and personal growth. A certificate in Latina Leadership Studies is granted to participants who complete all academic requirements. The training focuses on different aspects of leadership.

The curriculum addresses three levels of leadership, 1) “Nurturing Self as Leader.” It covers topics such as emotional and physical health, spirituality and the journey of leadership. 2) “Transitioning from Self to Others.” This level includes classes such as counseling skills, boundaries, and conflict resolution. And 3) “Leading Change and Managing Others.” Students receive instruction in non-profit organization, training of trainers, organizational health & change, and how to market themselves. (For detailed information please refer to the Curriculum & Courses section).

The CLLI training provides an ideal environment for participants to grapple with major issues in leadership for church and society. Participants receive instruction from accomplished women leaders whose knowledge and expertise help equip current and future women leaders to face the challenges of leadership.

There are various opportunities for women to practice and sharpen their skills as leaders through carefully selected reading assignments and projects. The program also encourages participants to form and nurture friendships that provide support networks in their respective field and ministries.
